How and when do I make payments?

The premium is payable annually by direct debit. You can ask your BBVA adviser about payment plan options.

How long is the BBVA Allianz D&O SME policy valid for?

The insurance contract is annual and renewable. The policy will be tacitly renewed every year on the same effective date.

Who can file a claim against you?

You can receive complaints as part of a civil, arbitration, criminal, or administrative case, or a written request, from: Partners and shareholders: due to mismanagement by the company and/or for having made decisions that they deem to have violated or harmed their interests. Employees: claims for damages caused by an improper employment action: discrimination, harassment at work, defamation, etc. Government bodies: subsidiary tax liability, administrative fines imposed on the administrator, etc. And others: company, buyers, for any damages resulting from an incorrect decision involving the management of the company.

When is the coverage period?

The insurance covers claims filed against our customer, provided that the customer is not aware of the existence of a possible claim, even if the claim originated in an event prior to the purchase of this policy.

Which are the compensation limits?

The product's maximum applicable indemnity limits and sublimits: General compensation limit of up to €3,000,000 (depending on your company's turnover). Insolvency Guarantee Expenses: Maximum of €250,000. Public image restoration expenses: 10%, with a minimum of €100,000 and maximum of €300,0000. Administrative fines and sanctions: 10%, with a maximum of €150,000. Legal expenses for reckless homicide or for involuntary violation of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law: Maximum of €150,000.

BBVA MEDIACIÓN, OPERADOR DE BANCA-SEGUROS VINCULADO, S.A. listed in the Administrative Register of Insurance Brokers of the Directorate-General for Insurance and Pension Funds under code OV0060. It has an approved public liability insurance policy.

Can a newly created company take out the insurance?

Yes, in this case, they must provide the forecast data for the end of the current year, based on their business plan. These companies are not eligible for the Civil Liability insolvency guarantee during the first year of the policy.

What are the requirements?

To take out this insurance, you will have to meet the following requirements:

Your company's turnover must not exceed 25 million euros.

Other conditions it takes into account:

Have consolidated financial figures available. For newly created companies, the forecast data for the end of the current year, based on their business plan.

Have positive equity.

Not be traded on a stock market.

Statement of solvency.

Not being aware of improper acts.

No claims in the previous 3 years.
