How do solar panels work?

With the sun, the panels generate energy that you can use at the time. The energy you don't consume (surplus) is returned to the power grid, and the utility company will compensate you for the surplus generated by your solar installation. When there is no sun and the panels are not producing electricity, you use the normal power grid.

1. Solar panels

They collect and convert the sun's energy into electricity.

2. Investor

Transform the direct current energy that you receive from the panels into alternating current (the one you use at home)

3. Meter

This is the property's main meter.

4. Electrical grid

So that you're never stuck without electricity, you will still be connected to the power grid and use this energy when the panels are not generating electricity.
