Fee-free Young Savers Account

At BBVA, we offer checking accounts for students and employees:

• The student bank account would be the Fee-Free Young Person's Online Account; No account administration or maintenance fee and no debit card issue or maintenance fee.
  
• The bank account for employees would be the Fee-Free Nómina Va Contigo para Jóvenes Account; No account maintenance or administration fee, No debit card issuance or maintenance fee, although it does have certain requirements, namely have a salary of €800 or more, and you can also get €100 gross paid into your account.
  

With both accounts, you can make transfers between your accounts in the same bank and transfers to other banks.

• No fees or conditions, and no need to direct deposit/debit a paycheck or bills.
• Payments on your cell phone with Google Pay and Apple Pay.
• You can activate the Savings Rules service
• You can say goodbye to paying fees for your account, your card or for making transfers.

The products and services in this package cannot be purchased separately. But you can cancel any of them early at no cost or penalty, and continue enjoying the rest.

The Online Account already has the Bizum service activated so you can instantly receive or send money with your cell phone, as if you were sending a message.

• If you don't have Bizum, it will be activated with BBVA and you'll be able to receive and send money from the outset.
• If you have it in another bank, you will only be able to send money from BBVA. If you also want to receive money via Bizum at BBVA, you can instantly change it from the app.

If you ever have a problem with your smartphone, with BBVA you can rest easy knowing that the app is completely secure. 

First, remember that access to your BBVA app will be protected by a login password that only you know, or by your biometrics (fingerprint or facial recognition). In addition, in order to do any transaction, two-factor authentication is always required, and involves a one-time password that is sent to your smartphone. 

To make in-person payments with your smartphone, you will need to enter the PIN that only you know when the amount is over €50 (the cumulative daily maximum for this type of payment is €150, after which you will have to enter the PIN again).

If your smartphone is lost or stolen, we recommend requesting a new password by calling Contact BBVA at 900 102 801, and if there are any problems changing it, you can request that the user be blocked. Finally, we also recommend reporting the incident to your phone company.

Yes, this Young Person's Fee-Free Online Account has no requirements. You can open it if you are studying in college, provided you are at least 18 years old.

You can also use this bank account to collect your study grant or direct debit your tuition payment.

Of course. If you ever need it, you can go to any branch in the BBVA network and get help from one of our advisers.

And if you prefer, you can open your bank account, a Fee-Free Young Person's Account, at a BBVA branch with the same advantages as the Fee-Free Young Person's Online Account, where you also won't pay:

• A debit card issuance or maintenance fee

When opening an account online, the deadline for exercising the right of withdrawal is 14 days. The period begins on the day the account contract is signed.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised via the bbva.es website and the BBVA mobile app (in both cases from the private area, through the "I want to" option in the personal accounts menu). This right can also be exercised in a branch or by calling Contact BBVA.
