Fee-Free Senior Account for retirees and pensioners

You can apply to open this account online at bbva.es and the BBVA app, but it is not possible to do so in branches. To sign up for the account, you need:

• You must be 18 or older.
• To live in Spain and have an ID card or Residence card (document with photo).
• Not be a BBVA customer.

In order to open this account online, you must have the following items ready:

• ID or Residence Card (card with photo).
• Cell phone to sign your contracts via SMS.
• Camera on your computer or cell phone to identify you with a video call or video.

When you become a customer, you will also take out the following:

• The Fee-Free Senior Account for your day-to-day.
• Aqua Debit Card associated with the account.
• Optional Aqua Más credit card, in case you want it and can take it out.

The products and services in this package cannot be purchased separately. But you can cancel any of them early at no cost or penalty and continue enjoying the rest.

By becoming a BBVA customer and directly depositing your paycheck or pension, you'll be able to receive an advance of up to two paychecks if you have any unexpected expense (maximum €3,000). As with a loan, we'll deposit the amount you request into your account, and you'll be able to pay it back over up to 6 months.

Here is an example of what the advance of your paycheck would be like:

Imagine that an unexpected expense arises and you request an advance on a paycheck of €3,000 to pay back in 3 months.

You would pay €1,010.85 a month for the next 3 months. And in total, you would pay €3,034.90.

In this example, the commitment fee is 0%, the NIR is 6.5% and the APR is 7.19% (the APR was calculated taking into account postage expenses: €0.78 monthly).

If you're interested, you can request it from your private customer area or app by following these steps:

• Go to the section I want to apply > Salary Advance Loan > Apply
• Choose the amount of the loan and the number of account holders.
• Fill in your personal and financial details.
• If everything is correct and at BBVA we approve the Salary Advance Loan, all you will have to do is sign it.
• And within 24 working hours after signing, you'll receive the money in your account.

Remember that you have the right to withdraw from the loan contract without incurring a cancellation fee for a period of 14 calendar days from the date you sign. You will only have to pay for the interest accrued during those days.

With the BBVA Fee-Free Senior Account, you can enjoy all the benefits offered by the bank; the services and features provided in our application, our website and, of course, all the services offered by our branches, ATMs and BBVA advisers.

The following fees are charged for withdrawing cash on debit at ATMs:

• At BBVA ATMs in Spain: €0.
• ATMs other than BBVA ATMs: the same amount as the fee that the ATM owner charges BBVA. The ATM owner will inform the cardholder of the corresponding fee before the cash is withdrawn.
• ATMs abroad: 4.50% (€3.50 minimum).

On bbva.es, the BBVA app and at ATMs, pay no fees for transfers in euros, Swedish krona or Romanian Leu (ron) within the European Economic Area (members of the European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Not including transfers on magnetic media, FMOs (Fund Movement Orders), same-day-value transfers and immediate transfers. For transfers which are not included, accompanying expenses and transfer fees established for these purposes do apply.

If you meet the salary account conditions, the fee for the card with the highest annual fee will be waived. If the account holder has already had the fees waived during the current calendar year for another of the cards they have linked to the account, they must pay the fee of the new associated card. The issuance fee can be waived for the following cards: BBVA Negocios Credit, BBVA Negocios Debit, BBVA Ahora, BBVA Después, BBVA Ahora Young Person's, BBVA Después Young Person's, Aqua Debit, Aqua Credit, Aqua Young Person's Debit, Aqua Young Person's Credit, Ábaco and Tarjeta 7.

You will have 14 days to exercise the right of withdrawal with any of the products acquired. The term starts on the day you sign and activate the product package you have chosen. To communicate your right of withdrawal, enter your private area at bbva.es or the BBVA app in the section of your account. You can also do so at a branch or by calling 900 102 801.
