Is it safe to connect with my other bank?

We will connect securely and anonymously with your other bank. To do this, you will enter your own login password, which will only be used to make this connection and carry out the personalized study. 30 days after we notify you of your limit, the data will be deleted.

What details do I have to provide?

To find out your financing limit, you will have to provide the following personal details: First and last names. ID No. Email and telephone number. Date and country of birth. Gender and marital status. Employment situation. Address.

How will my personal data be processed?

Your personal data will always be stored securely. Once we inform you of your credit limit, you can decide if you want to take out a loan with BBVA. If you don't take out the loan, we will delete your information in 30 days. If you end up accepting the loan, we will keep your information for the duration of your relationship with BBVA.

When will I get a reply?

We will respond to your request in approximately 8 business hours. If you request it from Monday to Thursday, you will get a reply the next day. If you request it on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, we will get back to you the next business day. Working hours are from 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded).

How will I be informed of the result of the application?

We will inform you of the result of your application by email, so please be sure to provide the correct email address.

Does it cost anything to find out my financing limit?

No, this service is completely free.

Can I request a loan for an amount other than the approved limit?

You can request the loan for the maximum amount offered or for a lower amount.

Am I required to apply for the loan?

No, once we complete your personalized study and we inform you of the limit, you can decide whether you want to apply for the loan or not.

What interest rate will the loan have if I decide to apply?

The interest rate of your loan will be 5.60% NIR/ 5.925% APR if you direct deposit your paycheck or pension with BBVA when you request your loan. If you don't direct deposit your paycheck or pension with BBVA, the interest rate will be 6.60% NIR/ 6.98% APR.

Do I need to know anything else?

If you decide to apply for the loan: Depending on the amount you request, and using prudential and responsible loan criteria, we may request the involvement of a public notary. Before signing the contract, we will send you the pre-contractual loan information (European Standardized Information Sheet, ESIS). If your loan is approved, after signing it you will have 14 calendar days to cancel the contract at no additional cost.
