How can I apply for a Personal Loan for Collectives?

Financing is subject to approval by Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. To be eligible for the special conditions made available to your professional collective, you will have to prove your membership.

Do I have to be a BBVA client?

Yes, to obtain this loan you must have a BBVA account, which is where the money will be deposited and the installments will be charged. If you are not already a client, you can open your account during the process. In addition, to benefit from the interest rate corresponding to your group, you will have to prove that you belong to it. If you decide you want the 1% reduction in the interest rate, you will need to direct deposit your paycheck into BBVA for the duration of the loan.

How much money can I request?

From a minimum of €3,000 up to a maximum of €75,000.

Can it be repaid before the end of the loan term?

Yes, you can repay the loan early, by paying a 0.50% fee if at the time of repayment, the outstanding payment term does not exceed 12 months. and 1% if there are more than 12 months remaining.

How long do I have to pay it off?

You can choose a term from a minimum of 12 months up to a maximum of 96 months.

How do I make the payments?

The payments will be made from your BBVA account on the last day of each month.

What if I miss a payment?

If this happens, late payment interest will be applied. Also, failing to make payments can lead to serious financial consequences (e.g., forced sale of property) and problems with obtaining future loans.

Can I cancel the loan?

You have the right to withdraw from the loan contract within 14 calendar days of its signing.

You have the right to withdraw from the loan contract without incurring a cancellation fee for a period of 14 calendar days from the date you sign. You will only have to pay for the interest accrued during those days.

Warning

The APR on the loan is calculated taking into account postage costs, which in 2022 are €0.75/month. If you need to open a checking account exclusively for managing this loan, and if the conditions for having no maintenance fees on said account are not met, the fee will be €120 per year.
