What are the requirements?

Have an actuarial age of between 55 and 80 years (79 years and 6 months). You will need to complete a brief health questionnaire, with only 3 questions. The insurance will cease to be extended when the insured person reaches the actuarial age of 85 years (84 years and 6 months).

How is actuarial age calculated?

The actuarial age takes the date that is closest to the birthday. For example, a person born on 3 March 1960: On April 3, 2024, actuarial age will be 64 years. On December 3, 2024, actuarial age will be 65 (as the closest birthday date is March 3, 2025).

What happens if you suffer an accident with several injuries?

If an accident occurs with multiple injuries, compensation will be paid only for the highest compensation amount.

What happens if you exceed the maximum compensation for injury?

There is a limit of €200,000 for the entire term of the contract. Once reached, all coverage of the insurance policy will end, except for the death insurance, which will remain in force until the end of the contract.

Who are the beneficiaries in the event of death?

The beneficiary will be the person or people designated by the Policyholder. If you have not appointed one, the beneficiaries will be, in preferential and exclusive order: 1. The non-legally separated spouse of the Insured Party; 2. The Insured Party's children; 3. The Insured Party's parents; 4. The Insured Party's heirs.

How long does the policy last?

The policy is annual and renewable.

How would you like to pay?

Payment is made upon signature of the contract. If you decide to include your insurance within the BBVA Plan EstarSeguro, the payment will be split into 12 months without any costs or interest.

How can I include this policy in the BBVA Plan EstarSeguro?

To enjoy the BBVA Plan EstarSeguro, you need to sign up for the BBVA Plan EstarSeguro card, free of interest charges, fees or extra costs. This is a credit card subject to BBVA's prior approval that can only be used to pay premiums of certain insurance policies. Offer valid until 01/31/2025, after which date it will be renewed annually, provided there are no changes in the conditions. For example: for a €600 transaction payable over 12 months at a nominal annual interest of 0%, the total sum to be paid would be €600 in monthly payments of 50 euros each. the resulting APR (annual percentage rate) would be 0%.

In-home help due to accident

BBVA Vida Asistencia Insurance +50 is an insurance policy with benefits for the over 55s. If an accident prevents the insured person from carrying out daily activities in a normal manner, he/she will receive home assistance, medical professional services or medication deliveries.

Also includes health and travel assistance.
Compensation for injury and death

In addition to daily life assistance, this insurance offers you compensation in the event of injury due to accident.

Also includes cover for death by any cause. The amount to be received will vary depending on the age of the insured person.

Daily life assistance

If you suffer an accident that prevents you from carrying out your daily activity normally, you will have the following services at your disposal:

Home assistance, such as domestic cleaning, preparing meals or running errands.

Professional sessions (rehabilitation/physiotherapy, nursing, etc.).

Accompanying for medical appointments, in a radius of 20km.

Up to 10 shipments of medication.

At-home care of pets (dogs and cats)

At-home hairdressing (washing and cutting).
Medical and travel assistance

Primary care (family and geriatric medical consultations): up to 6 enquiries per year of the insurance policy.

Up to 2 podiatry consultations (chiropody service only) per year of the insurance.

Medical advice online from day one, without limits.

Trip assistance: Worldwide coverage for trips of up to 90 days and trips of over 25 km. Includes medical transfer and medical repatriation.

If you want, you can include your BBVA Vida Asistencia Insurance +50 in the Plan EstarSeguro.

The bill will be split into monthly payments, so you can pay it comfortably and without surprises.

You can save 4% by including 2 BBVA policies in the Plan, or 5% if you include 3 policies, and so on up to a maximum of 15% savings if you include 10 policies.

And everything without fees or minimum duration.
