When are settlements made?

Settlements are made quarterly : on March 15, June 15, September 15 and December 15.

Do I have to pay fees for my card?

You won't pay card issue or maintenance fees (which are detailed at the end of the section) for each account holder provided you meet the income and payment conditions or any of the alternative conditions ; in other words, if you have one of the specific savings products with an average monthly balance of more than €25,000, or if you own more than 4,000 shares of BBVA. If one account holder has several cards, they won't pay fees on the card with the highest annual fee, unless the annual fee for another card was already waived during the current calendar year. And if they have the same fee, they won't pay for the most recent card. The cards for which issuance and maintenance fees may be waived are: Young Person's Ahora BBVA, Young Person's Después BBVA, Ahora Blue BBVA, Después Blue BBVA, Business Credit, Business Debit, Business Electrón, Business Agrocoop BBVA, Classic Agrocoop, Ahora BBVA, Después BBVA, Ábaco, Tarjeta 7, Business CX, Aqua Credit, Aqua Debit.

Is there a fee for online transfers?

On bbva.es, the BBVA app and at ATMs, pay no fees for transfers in euros, Swedish krona or Romanian Leu (ron) within the European Economic Area (members of the European Union + Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Does not include those made on magnetic media, Fund Movement Orders (OMFs in Spanish), Same-Day Value transfers and instant transfers. For transfers that are not included, the specified supplementary expenses and transfer fees apply.

What happens if I share the account and only one account holder satisfies the conditions?

If one account holder satisfies the conditions, the fees will be waived for every account holder . For example, if only one account holder has a product with BBVA, that will suffice for the two account holders to satisfy that condition.

Do I have the right to withdraw?

When opening an account online, the deadline for exercising the right of withdrawal is 14 days. The period begins on the day the account contract is signed. The right of withdrawal may be exercised via the bbva.es website and the BBVA mobile app (in both cases from the private area, through the "I want to" option in the personal accounts menu). This right can also be exercised in a branch or by calling Contact BBVA.

How can you avoid paying fees?

€0 a quarter 0% NIR/0% APR with one deposit + one of the payments + one product at BBVA.

€15 a quarter (€60 a year) 0% NIR/-1.99% APR* with one deposit + one of the payments.

€40 a quarter (€160 a year) 0% NIR/-5.23% APR* in all other cases.

*APRs calculated assuming a constant daily balance of €3,000 for one year.

You must have at least one option in each section.

Monthly paycheck or regular income by means of transfers or checks of at least €800.
